Be More Like Olivia Annual Charity Football Match 2024 & MARCH TO THE MALLET
My Story
Back in October 2023, our beautiful baby girl, Olivia, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, aged 15 months. We will be forever grateful for the time we had with Olivia as she was such a bundle of fun; we are thankful that she only ever knew fun, love and happiness in her life. We try to live our lives by the phrase "Be More Like Olivia" which is what we decided minutes after she died. It means trying to find positives in life, enjoying the time you are given and supporting everyone.
2wish have been a lifeline to us. When Olivia died, we had no support and felt completely alone in our darkest times. When 2wish expanded to England we felt as though someone was offering us a hand to pull us up; we are extremely grateful for the kind, caring and professional support we have received ever since. Losing a child of any age is devastating and life is no longer what it was. Therefore, we have made it our mission to spread awareness of 2wish, so that other bereaved parents can receive the help that 2wish provides.
On Sunday 29th Decemeber 2024, Kick off 14:00, we will be holding our Annual Charity Football Match at Street Football Club (The Tannery Ground, BA16 0TA). The day will involve a football match, an auction, a raffle, food & drink stalls and more! Please come along and support this wonderful charity and enjoy a great day out.
The Auction will include: a signed Geoff Hurst England shirt, signed Bristol City shirts, a match worn signed Bristol Rovers shirt, a signed Arsenal shirt, a signed Bath Rugby shirt, a signed Manchester United football, a 1 hour flying lesson, a top quality cricket bat, an Air bnb stay, a 4 ball at Burnham and Berrow and more to come!
The Raffle will include: Various different hampers, various sports tickets, various vouchers, various tickets to days out, various food and drinks gift sets, a photo shoot and many many more wonderful prizes!
Food vendors will include: A pizza horsebox, a fish n chips van, a tea and coffee stall, as well as bars and more!
There will be a cake sale with all proceeds going to 2wish charity.
There will be children's games with all proceeds going to 2wish charity.
There will also be a chance to meet the Gorgeous George 2wish elephant mascot!
