My Story

Welcome to SHEENFEST! A project for Michael Sheen’s Birthday on the 5th February 2025.

We are a group of fans who love Michael Sheen and would like to send him some wonderful birthday wishes while raising money for a thoughtful cause in honour of his special day!

We all know Michael supports and endorses loads of charities and, for this event, we’ve chosen one of them: 2Wish https://www.2wish.org.uk/ , which he is an ambassador of. 

It is an incredible charity that helps to provide a much needed support to families across Wales who have suffered a bereavement of a child or young adult aged 25 and under. The money raised goes straight towards the funding of vital memory boxes, bereavement rooms and counselling for the families going through such a torrid, unimaginable time. 

So, what’s our idea? It is to send a happy birthday to our favourite Welshman by gathering love (in form of a video, written message, picture or fanart) and raising money for 2Wish!

A donation is not required to take part in Michael’s Birthday project, as we want Sheenfest to be open to everyone. However, for those willing and able to donate, we would like to ask for a suggested donation of £10. (Roughly €12 or US $13). If you are unable to manage this amount, please just give what you can, it all helps! Likewise if you’re able to spare anything extra, it is all greatly appreciated.

No one should ever have to go through the pain of losing a child alone so any support that can be provided is absolutely vital in helping people through.
